ABOUT US

Welcome

The Riverside Caravan Park Bridgnorth was established in 1945 by Fred Furness. It is now owned and run by the third generation of the family and still has the same ethos of making this holiday park a relaxing and enjoyable place to be.

All of the team here are dedicated to maintaining this picturesque park and are more than happy to help and advise.

Set in beautiful surroundings on the banks of the River Severn, the park is within easy walking distance of the historic market town of Bridgnorth.

The Park is very picturesque with well kept gardens and is a delight during spring when the blossoms are in full bloom.

On the park there is a fully licensed club house. The 'Pine Cabin Club' has a selection of draught beers, wines and spirits. Karaoke, themed nights and live entertainment occurs on most weekends. Why not partake in an ice cold beverage and enjoy the weather in the attractive beer garden with all the family.

The Riverside Caravan Park also boasts a quarter of a mile of private course fishing.

New and pre owned holiday homes are available for sale.

Touring pitches are also available with electric hook-ups. Rallies are made welcome. All of our static caravans are privately owned and are not available for rent.

The rural nature of the Bridgnorth area means that lovers of the great outdoors will find plenty of outlets for country pursuits. Bridgnorth itself is a quaint market town, full of interesting buildings including the famous timber framed town hall dating from 1654.

With the Severn Valley Railway, the Castle ruins and the unique cliff railway linking 'high town' and 'low town' Bridgnorth has plenty to offer along with cafés, shops, pubs and restaurants.

Nearby are other old market towns such as Shrewsbury and Ludlow with historic houses and heritage sites. The Ironbridge Gorge offers no less than ten museums including the Blists Hill Victorian town, the Coalport china works and of course the Iron Bridge itself which was the first cast iron bridge built in 1779.

For the shopper, Telford Shopping Centre is twenty minutes drive away with a huge range of modern, quality shops.

Bridgnorth and its surrounding area has something for everyone. Where better to have your Holiday Home than in the midst of this rural haven.
